Diot-Siaci strengthens its governance and appoints Cédric Charpentier as Group CEO to accelerate its development

Paris, December 20, 2022 – DIOT-SIACI, the French and European leader in insurance brokerage, announces the appointment of Cédric Charpentier as Group CEO. Pierre Donnersberg and Christian Burrus become the co-chairmen. The objective of this change in governance is to accelerate growth in France and internationally.

One year after its birth, Diot-Siaci is adapting its governance to continue to gain in agility and efficiency. The Group has been working hard to unite its teams and share tools while imagining new ways of collaborating to strengthen its position in its markets.

The year 2022 was a period of realignment which required the full commitment of the General Management and the teams to structure the Group. This one-year period is in line with the roadmap defined by Pierre Donnersberg, Chairman of the Group, and Christian Burrus, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, as well as Hervé Houdard, in his capacity as Vice-Chairman of the Holding.

The Group now considers this integration phase is complete and that it is time to accelerate its development in France and all its markets.

In agreement with all the Group’s shareholders, it has therefore been decided to change the governance structure to meet this growth objective. Effective January 1, 2023, the General Management of the Group will be entrusted to Cédric Charpentier. The Group will now be co-chaired by Pierre Donnersberg and Christian Burrus allowing Cédric to harmoniously manage Diot-Siaci in line with the defined strategy. Hervé Houdard remains Vice-Chairman of the Holding.

Cédric’s appointment is another key step in pursing the ambition to build THE European broker with global reach. With a comprehensive career in France and abroad, including within the AXA Group, Cédric has the skills and experience in both the life and non-life sectors to take on the challenge.

At 49 years old, he is taking over the reins of Diot-Siaci having proven his leadership in one of the Group’s strategic lines of business, major property and liability risks as well as marine.

“We are on the right track and in 2023, we will need to speed up in the direction we have set since the merger. Cédric has all the legitimacy for this position, our trust and that of the teams”, said Pierre Donnersberg and Christian Burrus, co-chairmen of Diot-Siaci.

“The change in the governance is a key step for our future, a new chapter that is now opening for the Group. I intend to write it with all the teams with pride and enthusiasm, along with Pierre Donnersberg and Christian Burrus, driven by their exceptional successes. Under their leadership, Diot-Siaci has been able to maintain its independence while cultivating its difference, to position itself today as a major player in the global insurance brokerage industry”, explained Cédric Charpentier.
